Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, Bible-living,
Bible-teaching
New Testament Church.

- Service to the Lord
Non-Denominational Church
End Time Ministries International is a non-denominational church, meaning we are independent and self-governing, not part of a larger denomination like Southern Baptist, Episcopal, Wesleyan, or Methodist.
Why Non-Denominational?
- Freedom to direct the ministry and teaching without external interference
- Each church is answerable directly to God
- Follows the New Testament model of local elders leading the church (Acts 14:23)
What We Believe
- Jesus Christ is the Savior and Lord of all who believe
- The Bible is the ultimate authority for faith and practice
- The gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to all believers
- Churches are independent yet connected, supporting one another (Acts 18:27; Romans 16:16)
- Faithfulness to God’s Word, not organizational structure, is the measure of a church
Accountability
All believers should:
- Check teachings against God’s Word
- Lovingly correct churches or leaders if they stray from Scripture
- Seek fellowship with a church that faithfully obeys God’s Word
EARLY CHURCH LEADERSHIP
In the book of Acts, where we read of the first missionary journeys and the establishment of many churches, there is no indication of a hierarchy of authority beyond the local elders of the church. Some people point to the Jerusalem council in Acts 15 as a pattern for denominational structure, but it is nothing of the sort.
Key Scriptures:
Acts 13:2, Acts 14:23, Acts 15:5–6, Acts 15:7
APOSTOLIC AUTHORITY & DOCTRINE
The Gentiles had been given the gospel under the ministry of Paul and Barnabas, by the direct authority of the Holy Spirit. The churches established in that first journey were left under the care of elders from their own ranks, after having been taught by Paul and Barnabas. When the council was called at Jerusalem, it was not because of any question of organizational structure or control, but to discuss doctrinal matters about what constitutes salvation.
CHURCHES CONNECTED
The apostles who had been directly commissioned by Jesus were the only people who could properly address the question authoritatively. When a church is non-denominational, does that mean it has no need of other churches? That may be the belief of some, but it is certainly not the example we find in Scripture. The book of Acts and the New Testament Epistles make it clear that the churches communicated with one another regularly.
As Paul and his companions made their missionary journeys, it was not uncommon for the believers to send letters to the other churches, or to greet one another through his letters. Likewise, when there was a great need, the churches worked interdependently to meet that need; for example, the collection for the famine in Jerusalem.
Key Scriptures:
Acts 18:27, Acts 11:29, Romans 16:16, 2 Corinthians 8:4
MEASURE OF A TRUE CHURCH
The various churches of the New Testament, though independent, self-governing bodies, were definitely connected in fellowship and cooperative ministry, giving us an example to follow today. The measure of any church, whether inside or out of a denomination, is not how it is organized nor what name it is called, but rather how faithfully it adheres to the teachings of the Word of God. No church is inerrant, because churches are made of people who are capable of error. Even the apostles, with all the gifts God gave them, were not without error.
ACCOUNTABILITY IN PRACTICE
Paul records in Galatians 2:11 that “when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.” Peter, the first to give the gospel to a Gentile, gave in to pressure by the Judaizers to separate himself from Gentile believers. Paul’s ability to confront Peter was not based on his position as an apostle, but on the revealed truth of God’s Word. Paul complimented the believers in Berea Acts 17:11 for checking his own teaching against the Bible to find out if he was telling them straight doctrine.
Our Story
Our Beginnings (2001)
End Time Ministries International began as an extension of Vacation Bible School in the Bridge Lake Point Neighborhood. During the summer months of June–August 2001, Vacation Bible School was held every Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 49 Waunona Woods Court, Madison, Wisconsin.
Reverend Stubbs taught Bible lessons each night, complete with study questions. At the conclusion of every session, children were provided with a full-course meal. Students were rewarded with prizes, gifts, toys, and McDonald’s gift certificates for good attendance, participation, and completed assignments. At the end of the summer, a birthday celebration was held for students born in July.
The response from the community was overwhelming. Parents, neighbors, landlords, agencies, and community partners testified to a noticeable decrease in complaints and an increase in positive engagement among children. After VBS ended, children continued to visit requesting that the program continue. It was evident that God was at work.
Answered Prayers & Legal Establishment
Moved by the impact of the ministry, the church body sought God through prayer for strength and direction. On January 7, 2001, the trustee board, spearheaded by Mother Linda Hoskins, signed and submitted governmental documents to establish the church legally.
After much prayer and patience, on January 27, 2002, the church received official governmental approval and was legally recognized as End Time Missionary Baptist Church. There was great rejoicing and thanksgiving for what God had done, as He revealed His plans for the ministry.
Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 29:18:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
